It’s been an exciting and sometimes painful (more on this later) journey throughout Europe as I’ve taken Ramayana The Thread of Luminance to market, to coin a phrase, at MiPtv 2018 in a very rainy and cold Cannes in the south of France.
Most people will associate the French Rivera with glamour and film stars, but this week it was home to the ‘largest week in television’ as 5000 participants from all corners of the globe descended to sell, promote and sign deals in the international television industry along with networking opportunities. Whilst the strikes and weather in France did dent opportunities to take a break on the beach, I did manage to talk to a variety of co- production companies and distributors about my intentions to create the next big thing from my tireless work over the last decade.Read More

Sad news this morning that Kak Channthy; the lead vocalist of Cambodia Space Project has died in a tragic traffic accident in her native city of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Along with others of her generation that survived the atrocities of the Khmer Rouge and then Civil War, she along with the rest of CSP rebuilt the cultural identity of the Cambodia that Pol Pot and his murderous regime that tried to extinguish contemporary culture in the South East Asian Country.Read More

t's been a few days since I've seen Marvels Black Panther - the first super hero film since last years Logan - honestly I've grown quite tired of super hero films on the silver screen but I made the exception on Lunar New Year Weekend here in South East Asia.
Surprisingly the film had compete with not one but two Chinese films capitalising on the weekends celebration with Monkey King 3 and Monster Hunt 2 - I was still lucky to get tickets alongside a predominately asian audience mostly accompanying children who have gown up on Marvels previous offerings.Read More

Located on the Cote D'Azur in the South of France is Europes largest TV market where industry representatives come from all over the world to network, discuss the future of media and buy and sell content.
